Fleet Forces Command

New Conference Rooms and SCIF

Fleet Forces Command – Norfolk, Virginia

Innovative Collaboration was hired by the Fleet Forces Command to design, engineer, install, and program nine new conference rooms and a high-security Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) at the Norfolk Naval Base in Norfolk, Virginia.

The project took place from November 2014 to June 2015, and all of the rooms had multi-classification VTC security requirements, along with Crestron controls. This is one of 10 multi-classification VTC conference rooms Innovative Collaboration completed for Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, Virginia.

Conference Room Video Wall

CASCOM – Ft. Lee, Virginia

In February 2015, Innovative Collaboration was hired by Ft Lee Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) to design a video wall using Planar LCDs, video processing, controls, and a custom-designed conference table.

NIH Conference Room Upgrade

National Institute of Health (NIH) – Rockville, Maryland

In October of 2015, Innovative Collaboration was hired by the National Institute of Health (NIH) to perform a conference room upgrade in Rockville Maryland. Innovative Collaboration installed video teleconferencing equipment, a new projector, and made significant audio changes, which gave the NIH the ability to share room video conferencing across web conferencing.

Upgraded Auditorium

Department of the Army – Ft. Drum, New York

In September 2014, the Department of the Army hired Innovative Collaboration to engineer and implement a complete upgrade to the audio and presentation systems in their Combinable Dual Auditorium in Fort Drum, New York. We converted the auditorium from old analog designs to 100% digital throughout the facility.

The facility required massive amounts of technical acumen to complete but, more importantly, the facility had to remain aesthetically pleasing, and the technology had to be “understated” so that users could focus on the presentation or briefing and not the technology behind it.

LifeCycle Support

Port Authority – New York / New Jersey

The Port Authority of NY/NJ hired Innovative Collaboration to maintain audiovisual equipment valued at more than $2 million.

Our duties include upgrading and updating equipment, firmware, and control code. We perform monthly visits to the site to accomplish calibration of a large video wall, ensuring sources from 128 inputs and 128 outputs are functioning properly and upgrading firmware on hundreds of pieces of equipment.

Microphone System Upgrade and Installation

Consular Section – Port-au-Prince, Haiti

“I wanted to send you a quick note to thank you and your installation team, led by JD Lewis, for the truly wonderful job they did over the last two weeks getting our new microphone and paging system installed here in the Consular Section.

I believe that ICAVN can be rightfully proud of the work that the installation team performed, and I would be happy to provide a reference for you and your team for any similar projects that you might have in the future. JD Lewis was an outstanding team leader for the effort, and all of your install team personnel performed professionally and efficiently in order to get the job done.

I had been initially concerned that the 9 day installation schedule that was proposed might be a bit aggressive and difficult to achieve, but the team all worked very hard, putting in 11-14 hour days every day except one to ensure a job well done and complete. It was truly my pleasure to work with them.”
